The Rise of Pro-Life Africa

As Africa is being increasingly pressured  and prodded by the rich population-control-minded western donors , more and more “family planning” facilities are being installed in their cities, towns  and villages and as a result, the good people of Africa are being bombarded everyday by the contraception-abortion message from the first world countries .
This is why it was really timely and necessary to launch a series of Pro-Life events in Enugu and Owerri (both located in the South-Eastern region of Nigeria) .
For us , it was a 10-day enriching experience/adventure of a life-time , that started off in Enugu and ended up in Owerri with a big BANG !

Culture of Life Africa had the great privilege and honour to collaborate closely with the Archdiocese of Owerri as well as Happy Home Foundation Enugu to bring the pro-life message to so many people who received it with much joy, gladness and gratitude .
The message cut through the Enugu and Owerri communities like a double-edged sword to set free women who have been bound by the weight and lies of “modern” artificial contraceptives ; the exuberant youth who have been led to believe (by the aggressive publicity Ads and campaigns) that condoms will protect them from HIV rather than abstinence and fidelity;the good clergy, seminarians and religous who are in the privileged position to offer hope and spiritual direction to so many ;the healthcare professionals who have been convinced that modern medicine must provide artificial contraception and abortion ; the government officials and legislators who have been under immense pressure from the abortion lobbyists ; indeed , the pro-life message resounded through the land and got to all . And It brought with it -hope and courage to the hearts and minds of these Africans who already understood ,by faith and tradition , the inestimable value of human life , the beauty of womanhood and the blessing of married life. In fact , we were greatly streghtened, inspired and fired up by the contagious zeal and zest of the people .
As we organised , gave or listened to various excellent speakers in many lectures, talks, teaching and training sessions in Enugu and Owerri , we saw the wonderful pro-life spark igniting the young and old alike as they enthusiastically absorbed the good and sound information that was being presented to them .

For many of them , it was their first real exposure to the truth about abortion, contraception, same-sex “marriage”, promiscuity , pre-marital sex and pornography , all of which are now being woven into most the modern day entertainment , media , movies and even music. In this age of globalisation, the seeds of the Culture of Death are being felt everywhere (including in Africa) and the committed proponents of this decadent culture are desperately trying to redefine and re-caliberate the moral ethical standards around the world.
So the series of wonderful and powerful pro-life events in Nigeria was like a wake up call to Africans (not just Nigerians) to rise up in order to reject all the destructive and corrosive elements of the Culture of Death being pushed on them. And we had the pleasure of witnessing the rise of the African people of life who are now better sensitised , prepared and ready to tenaciously uphold their own Culture of Life and Civilisation of love.
Within the next few weeks , we will be sharing with you some excellent snippets and snapshots of this our call and pro-life mission to Nigeria which came to a perfect crescendo with a March for Life Rally through the streets of Owerri .

The joy of gathering the young and vibrant Pro-Life leaders in Owerri

The deep satisfaction of training the men and women who will uphold the Culture of Life in Africa – a full day in the classroom for intensive pro-life training.

A March to remember ! We march for life.

Women and Mothers offer up their prayers for the protection and promotion of marriage between one man and one woman.

Even the young and tender infants know how to pray for the “sophisticated and modern” Western Countries where babies in the womb are not protected by the law.

This goes out as a plea to all the pro-choice and pro-abortion advocates out there, life is sacred , life is precious , DEFEND IT .

To all those donors who aim to depopulate Africa with their extensive and expensive contraception programs- African children are happy to be born because they know that they are precious.

African Priests, Seminarians and Religious sisters plead for the sanctity of life as they speak out against the lies of artificial contraception which is being heavily infused into the African healthcare system.

Behold the joyous and energetic youth

Africans are a people of Life and Love , faith and family !
Please help us keep Africa Pro-Life .

STAY TUNED FOR MORE.
